Change the oil frequently and maintain in advance
In the process of turbocharged engine operation, because the exhaust gas that drives the turbine is discharged from the engine cylinder, its temperature is as high as about 600 ℃, and the temperature can reach about 1000 ℃ under high load. Therefore, turbocharged technology models have particularly high requirements for oil consumption and lubricity. It is recommended that you shorten the maintenance interval of 7500 kilometers specified by the manufacturer to 5000 kilometers, and use the original engine oil as much as possible.
If you feel that your car is in good condition and do not want to maintain it too early, you should check the oil regularly. Take a week as a cycle and take out the oil gauge in the oil tank regularly every week. The vernier gauge is mainly divided into three areas, with MIN and MAX scales. The cross line area between the MIN and MAX scales is the addable area. The area below the MIN scale is a mandatory area, and the area above MAX is a non-additional area.
Slow start, slow acceleration
Although turbocharged vehicles do not need to deliberately warm up for a few minutes with the technological upgrade, when various parts are not fully lubricated with oil, high-speed operation will still cause some parts to wear out or even malfunction. Therefore, after the turbocharged engine model is started, do not step on the accelerator. You should first idling for 3~5 minutes, so that the oil pump has enough time to deliver the oil to all parts of the turbocharger, and the standby oil temperature slowly rises. After that, the turbocharger will be fully lubricated, and then the speed will be like a fish in the water.
Take the cash TSI engine as an example. The user manual of the vehicle suggests that 93# or 95# gasoline can be added. However, considering the uneven quality of gasoline in the current gasoline market, the purity of gasoline is relatively low and there are more impurities. Therefore, it is recommended that owners of turbocharged technology vehicles use 97# gasoline when adding gasoline, and they can also add some fuel additives when refueling. Generally, three tanks of oil are added once. The use of high-grade gasoline has less impurities and burns more fully, which can increase power and appropriately reduce fuel consumption and carbon deposits. Fuel additives can increase the lubricity of gasoline and reduce the retention of impurities in the transmission pipeline and parts.
After adding high-grade gasoline, do not add low-grade gasoline, and change from low-grade gasoline to high-grade gasoline. After driving for more than 2,000 kilometers, the vehicle’s fuel consumption will decrease, and the power and acceleration will be significantly improved. Please also pay attention to this point.
